PHME TESTING CENTRE
Post-Harvest Machinery and Equipment (PHME) Testing Centre at ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET), Ludhiana, Punjab, is authorized by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Govt. of India). The aim of establishing PHME Testing Centres is to ensure the supply of quality agricultural machinery and equipment under Government Programs. PHME Testing Centres ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana, has modern precision measuring instruments, equipment for machine and material testing. In the financial year 2021-22, PHME Testing Centre, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana, has issued 49 test reports.
